Maa Chandraghanta – 3rd Day of Navratri
Goddess Chandraghanta is worshipped on the third day of Navratri. Maa Chandraghanta, hour- sized crescent moon look on her head and a bell which gives her name Chandraghanta. This is the reason behind that why devotees called them Chandraghanta. She prescribed peace, knowledge, prosperity, bliss, goodness and her devotees pray to her for completing their desires, prosperity, peace, success and better equipment in their life. Vehicle of goddess Maa Chandraghanta is a lion; Maa Chandraghanta has 10 arms, 3 eyes, 8 arms, arms, arrows, and 3 weapons on her hand, etc. Maa Chandraghanta blessed her devotees with her two hands.
Puja vidhi
Make out a proper arrangement of bath of Maa Chandraghanta, place an idol picture of goddess Maa Chandraghanta and sprinkle some Ganga Jal on it then place a container, sand pot, or brass of water by keeping coconut above it and after that contain and put all the require items of puja which is roli, flowers, clothes, bindi, bangles, garlands coconut, and fruits etc. Prescribe all to Maa Chandraghanta and pray to Ishta Devta and perform Aarti of Maa Chandraghanta.
